Since Katrina so many other people have tried to define who the people of New Orleans are---the Black people.  And now African Ancestry gives people in New Orleans with African ancestry yet another way to define who they are that complements their already rich sense of self and place.  When African Ancestry pulls out of New Orleans...the people there too will start the nation&#039;s call---WE ARE AFRICA!!  Say what!!!!! (A DC call and response)]]></description>
